Hm, I sort of agree spaman, but:

You can get new posts by clicking 'new posts', you can get recent (even ones that have been read) posts by going quick links -> Today's Posts. Also, you can set to automatically subscribe to threads you post in, meaning you can access them by going to your 'User CP'.

If we can have something like that on the front page, without having to go through the search/quick link optoions, that would keep me quiet...
I've found in other forums that use this software that the search is not as good as the Democracy forum, and the ability to store preset searches doesn't work... unless I'm doing things totally wrong.

You can search on your own ID like this:
http://www.democracyforum.co.uk/sear...?searchid=1300
You can also set your user CP to 'subscribe' you to threads that you post in. Then you can click on Quick Links -> Subscribed threads

Yup. There is some basic information on these pages:
http://www.democracyforum.co.uk/faq...._read_and_post

You should find that there is a lot more overall functionality for users - little things that you may have to hunt around for. I am not sure that I am knowledgeable enough to write a complete guide to it all though. It might be easier to do it on a case by case basis. If you don't like something or would like some functionality just ask. it is far easier to add or change things now.

Thanks Anthony - I will give those a try

Excuse my laziness - I like to have things laid on for me.

Note that you can also click on your own name (in the panel on the left) and find your recent posts that way.
