Now when using the quick reply box, instead of taking me back to the thread, I am taken to the form you get if you actually click 'reply'. This gives the impression that my reply has not been posted, when it has. Before, I was always taken back to the thread.

Yup - I was trying to install an automatic Youtube parsing facility. I have posted the error to the vBulletin forum and will see if it can be resolved. I have disabled it in the mean time.

Never mind, error seems to have been corrected.

Nope, that worked for me - I was shown the last thread that I just posted.

A car, but I'm not sure that's important.
It was from an image I had in photobucket.
My question is how do I add an avatar to my profile?
I do like that posts are now numbered. That makes it much easier to refer back to a previous post.

Go to 'User CP' and click 'Edit Avatar' under 'Settings and Options'.

"vBulletin Message
The administrator has specified that you can only edit messages for 5 minutes after you have posted. This limit has expired, so you must contact the administrator to make alterations on your message."
I don't know how to quote the above external post is the first problem. The 2nd problem is in the message. Previously we could edit any post unless it had been replied to. Spelling, grammar & factual errors are frequently likely to be clear after more than 5 minutes. If someone has replied then fair enough, tough ****. If not shouldn't we all have the opportunity to correct our errors?

I agree, a shortish post, no problem, but a longer post can take a little while to re-read and mess about with. Back to the old system please, or at least make it 15 mins unless replied to.
