Not made any difference.
Using 2.0.4, 10.4.10
I must be doing something wrong, like upsetting the devil or something...
All I have available to me is "post icons". No smilies, no code...
Weird.

Can you post a screen shot of it please?

It's working fine here Tony (see screenie) - so it *has* to be something client side.
Have you got Java/JavaScript turned off in your prefs or something?

Even weirder!
My settings are identical to yours. the only difference between us would appear to be me using 10.4.10.
That has caussed me one small problem in that it doesn't recognise the additional keys on my RF Macally keyboard - I wonder if this is another one.
I've tried using both my G4 MDD DP and my iBook G4 (which I am using now) and they both show the same result.
I'll go back to one of my other drives and boot off an earlier system see if that answers the problem.

Works fine, smilies showing.

Just installed a brand new system on one of my spare drives. No updates, just running 10.4.6 and 2.0.3. Same result.
F*cked if I know
Only one thing left to try, change router - keyboard still doesn't work though, must be bolloxed.
Bad week already!

And for good measure I've just logged in using a third Mac and see exactly the same thing!
So that's 3 macs, two routers, 2 ISPs and it still doesn't work right.
Maybe we've had the wrong type of rain in Peterborough...

That was going to be my next suggestion. Even though I can't think of a single reason why a router would cause this problem.
Still, if you're not using the
finest ADSL router on the planet, it's a good excuse to go buy one.

Oh well, Peterborough... ...there you go then.
:-)
I could have had a good time in Peterborough once... ...unfortunately a misplaced sense of loyalty prevented me from dropping the girlfriend and going after her hot mate. Still kicking myself over that one... ...and I blame Peterborough.
