I have just updated the forum software, which adds some new functionality.

If you encounter any problems, please let me know. I will provide more information on the changes soon.

I have also had to disable the alternative styles for the moment, because they may not be compatible with this new version. If anyone desperately wants one of the old styles, I will endeavour to find something suitable if it is available.

Argh.
I can't even remember what my old style was, but I need it back. This is ghastly. :-)

If you can't restore the old ones then could you find some new ones, please? :-)

OK, I have re-enabled the old styles. There will be some graphical errors with them though, especially in the profile sections.

Tags

You will notice that every thread now has a 'Tags' section towards the bottom of the page. These allow members to provide related keywords, which will build up into a facility for finding related threads on the forum.

Here is an example thread:

Any registered users can add appropriate tags. Please check your spelling and punctuation!

Social Groups

In the top navigation bar, you now have a new link to 'Groups'. I haven't tried these yet, and have installed an extra modification so that when a group reaches 5 members it can have its own sub forum area.

Anyone can start a group, but please do try to keep them relatively sensible otherwise the forum will get swamped with silly ones :-)

Rumour

Aaarrgghh

I can add more as people wish.

Party Membership

You can now show your party affiliation without the need for an avatar. You can either edit it through your profile, or via your 'User CP'.

If there are any other parties that need adding, please just send me a PM.
