Today I am launching a new website called
Politigg.
Politigg aims to allow you access to the best political articles from across the web, as judged by other members. Many of the articles are gathered automatically from the extensive list of trusted sources, but users can also submit articles that they find interesting or useful. There are currently around 400 political websites monitored for new content:
All Main Sources
Politigg offers a very different service to the British Democracy Forum, so the two sites will not be competing.
To get the most out of Politigg, I strongly advise you to read the one page Quick Start User Guide which covers all the main functions.
Quick Start User Guide
Suggestions for new blogs, news sites and political groups to include in the trusted sources are most welcome.

Do you mean that it appears to return the same set of results? That would be because most of the content is from blogs... hence the front page looks very similar.

AB, thanks for this site, it could be very useful. Please take note of a great feature of Coffee house, after you expand a headline you can then click through at the bottom of each article other expanded articles until you spot your last read feature.
This saves much time looking through headlines for people not quite as obsessive as we are, and also allows a good depth for the more politically minded.
