Got asked about the re-usable ones the other day.
Till girl asked me if I wanted a "bag for life".
Told her "I'm already married, but thanks for the offer"
Collapse of till girl.....

Wazzamarrer? ....don't you guys do the weekly shop?
Very few shops round here have the heavy-duty option, the recently opened LIDL with its forced payment of a bag has encountered the local grumblings.
That shows the paradox of Irish life as i've also heared the local astonishment "i saw a doctor shop there" being expressed.
People bring there own cardboard boxes in there cars though now so maybe were on to something, could that be the answer?

No problem for me,i think LIDL's a great place to shop, but for the Irish this kind of shoping format was a totaly new experience!
