Was that the Double Decker Bus we have?
I have seen a BNP double Decker bus on Live BNP TV so there was and likely is still a bus so we must have achieved the target for the 2006 appeal.

The money made by the party from the 10,000 members does not go that far but despite our size I think the money has being very well used.
We have the most viewed political website in Britain with daily news updates; we have the first political live broadcasting system, BNP youth, BNP TV, We will soon be the first to use mobile campaigning trucks and we are the fastest growing political party in Britain.
I think our money has been very well spent as we achieved all that whilst all media, anti BNP protesters and political parties have opposed us from the start.

The assertion that the BNP has 10,000 members is a fallacy. It can be disproven by viewing the official accounts (2006) for the BNP, which are available from the Election Commission, here :
http://www.electoralcommission.org.u..._N__S__W__.pdf
The 2006 accounts, signed by David Hannam on 27th September 2007 states that Membership fees accounted for £5,921.
The lowest membership fee available to join the BNP is £15. Quick mathematics tells us that even if all alleged 10,000 members of the BNP paid just £15 to join, then the BNP should have earned a minimum of £150,000 in membership fees.
Contrast that with the figure given in the accounts of £5,921. This would give us a total of 394.73 members if each paid £15 a piece.
Either the accounts are wrong, or you are.
Or perhaps there has been a massive jump in membership since 2006? In which case why beg for more money as there should be something in the region of £144,079 extra raised in 2007 through membership fees...

Prove it. Your electoral results indicate otherwise. The Tories appear to be growing the fastest judging on the number of local elections they are thrashing the rest at.

The BNP is growing fast, but not fast enough. It is important to note, and I have made this important point before, that membership of the BNP cannot be taken into account when guaging support for the party compared to others. Many people, in the police and prison services for example, support the BNP but cannot join it. The more accurate yardstick is the amount of elections it contests and the support it obtains. The last contest in May saw a net gain of ten council seats and representation on the London Assembly, encouraging but its not quick enough.
The worrying thing for all minor parties actually, is that the people still seem to be swayed by the two party system, therefore when the left arm of the establishment fails to deliver, the right arm is used and the boot continues to be put into the minnows. The LibDems and the SNP/Plaid Cymru are "acceptable" alternatives to the status quo that can be used and abused as and when necessary.
I reluctantly agree that the Tories have like an army of zombies come back from the political graveyard, and look very likely to form the next government.

Unless you're in Northern Ireland... in which case it's a whole other story

No disrespect to the good folk of Northern Ireland, but politics there is very different to that in the rest of the UK.

If membership is as low as you say and we still have the most viewed political website, BNP youth, BNP TV, the first live broadcasting system BNP Live TV and will be the first to use campaigning trucks in Britain then we are pretty god dam good.
Many of the local elections we took part in gave us 20 – 30% of the total votes and we just missed third place in the Henley election when labour came fifth.

Griffin claimed the BNP had near ten thousand members I think in his Christmas broadcast in 2006. During the leadership contest it transpired there were actually about 8,500.
I would guess that figure is considerably lower now.
My estimate is that the BNP have nationally about two to four hundred activists of varying quality.

Well I can tell you we had at least 1000 members on the old BNP forum. The BNP forum is not used by many members and mostly used by younger members so two hundred activists is a massive under valued assessment.
The new BNP forum that has only being running for a few weeks already has over 250 members actively using it and this years BNP festival is meant to be the biggest yet so more people at the events must mean more members. To be honest the size of the actual membership does not matter as much as the actual support and our somehow increasing financial power to run new effective campaigning.

Very difficult to assess, but I do believe that as a party the BNP has a far higher rate of activists in relation to the membership total than other parties.
