Nick Cass is no Nazi! Just because the Nazis abused symbols like this doesn't mean they should be abandoned.

What has Pat what his name's post got to do with anything? The hooked cross, has been used by MANY cultures throughout the world, it is not the sole property of any eastern culture. As for northern European symbolism, what is it that you just don't seem to get?

Have read Pat what's his name post and all it is pointing out that this symbol HAS been used by those with a more "extreme" viewpoint to those other than the poster himself.
Getting bogged down with symbolism that has been used by war losers/oppressors in the past does not invalidate its use now. Like I said, if that was the case, then virtually all symbols would be banned.

He was using it to show solidarity with white supremacism (which the BNP claim to oppose) and its supporters, who were clearly using it with reference to the Nazis' project. I don't call that kind of stuff "decent" and I thought it was my duty as an upstanding anti-BNP citizen to point out the evident oxymoron/BNPism.
