I arrived back from the best RWB event staged yet at 8pm last night. There where approximately 3,000 members and patriotic supporters in attendance, and a record number of branches on display, plus the political marquee, childrens' funfair and other attractions.
The far left and anarchist groups had been threatening to cause disruption for weeks on the internet, with the rather fascistic aim of "smashing" our festival. Any attempt at intimidation failed miserably, although 700 assorted dropouts shuffled through the main street of the nearby town of Codnor shouting their puerile slogans. Of these some 50 militant anarchists from the Antifa group attempted to cause disruption by building a barricade across the main road to the festival site and stop BNP members and their families from attending. The police swiftly and efficiently dealt with this threat, although they were subjected to a torrent of abuse, missiles and other objects in the process. We meanwhile remained on site enjoying ourselves and welcoming the representatives from our sister parties in Europe under the slogan "Love Europe, Hate the EU!" It was great to see people from the Czech National Party in attendance, as they had brought some of their excellent Pilsner Urquell beer with them! Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, the USA, Spain and others were welcome guests as well.
An excellent weekend was had by all, although I feel sorry for the decent people of Codnor who were subjected to abuse from the far left, particularly the owner of a local shop whose "crime" appeared to have a Union flag on display in his front window.

MEdia reports put it at 400 unwashed with 33 arrests.
I was on the set up team so was on site for 9 days, by Sunday morning we had 3600 people through the gates with people arriving all day sunday as well.
Was a great day, enjoyed by everyone I spoke too.
BNP 1, Lefties -33.

So what happened with the constitutional changes? Or is that information only available to those with the correct security clearance?

The ANTIFA attacks on the BNP “summer ausstellung” in my opinion was wrong.
Wrong for a number of reasons, Firstly because with kids present it’s the wrong thing to do.
Wrong because it plays directly into the hands of the BNP who try to present themselves as being “just another political party” and one being “put upon by the people that they object to and who are attacking them” so in their silly little minds justifying their silly and at the same time nasty beliefs.
Wrong because they people who did attack the BNP took away the legitimate right of those who wanted to show their entirely understandable disgust at the BNP in a decent way.
There would have been far more to gain not by goading the BNP lot, but simply letting them do their thing since pretty soon water would have found its own level and the BNP lot would have shown themselves up for just what they are.
Knowing the justifiable awful reputation the BNP has why any decent person would want to be a part of it defeats me.
On the other hand the answer is probably contained in the phrase “decent people”.

Members are allowed to bring guests (limited number). We would like to have a more open policy, but as you are probably aware there are lefties and anarchist groups who would like to literally attack punters, therefore security is very tight.

Good afternoon Mr Bear, I wondered how long it would take you to grace us with your opinions. Almost as exciting as waiting for a papal decree.
:-)
Two points need to be made however. It is fair to say the majority of the demonstrators did not try and use force, but merely inconvienced the local people with their presence. Their have the right to demonstrate against us, we accept that as long as its within the law and properly managed.
Secondly, our event was very well marshalled and there was absolutely no trouble whatsover from us, despite provocation like a thunderflash being launched at the Thursday night security team at the main entrance.
The local Labour Party sent in council inspectors accompanied by police regularly trying to find some way of using their law against us.
They got their way on Saturday, when we were informed that having a Punch & Judy Show was a breach of entertainment licence legislation and that the organizer would be summonsed for it!!
:-)
The police were great, friendly, efficient and professional. The towns people were understanding and in many cases supportive. The Labour Party and their far left allies showed themselves up for what they are. The true fascists and deniers of democratic rights.

If this is true and lets face it we hear about **** like this every day, is it any wonder that ordinary people feel so exasperated with the mainstream parties that they are drawn to 'extreme organisations'.

"The true fascists and deniers of democratic rights" like those who impose the rules on who can vote and how the leader can ignore what the majority want?
But I am not unhappy the event went off without significant trouble, if for no other reason than for the sake of the kids.
As for the Punch and Judy, to take any action on that basis is just silly.
