So how come London is successful if it is full of crime committing foreigners? Surely the more ethnically pure cities of the UK should be much further ahead economically and culturally?

Where are all these great pure white cities which are beacons of hope amongst the nightmare of places like London?

London is 'succesful' as you put it because it's the capital and the countries financial centre. American and Japanese Business men certainly don't go there to see the Hackney Afro Carribean centre :-)

There's plenty of towns across Britain that present a nice escape from the crime, grime and overcrowding in London.

The problem does not lie with the 'immigrants' as individuals. Britain has indeed dealt with waves of immigrants/invaders in the past and, eventually, assimilated them into the fabric of society. It is the sheer number being allowed in that is the problem. We already have a system that is overloaded and too many more being added to it will cause it to fail.

If the EU is so immigrant friendly, why are the French so keen to kick the immigrants out of their country and into Britain?

London is growing very fast and therefore is moving and bringing more money. Allthough the population is growing and there is more money in london the people are among the worst for quality of life in Europe.
