Two prominent political figures in Ashfield have defected to the B.N.P.
Two prominent Labour and Tory politicians from the district of Ashfield, East Midlands, have resigned from their parties in disgust and have joined the British National Party.
Former chairman of Ashfield District Council and a former Labour Councillor, Edward Holmes, says: “Serving the community was the proudest time of my political career.
“Unfortunately the Labour party I represented no longer cares for the local people. The Labour party of today is not the party that represents Britain’s working class.”
Former Chairman of Ashfield Conservative Association Lionel Buck says: “Having served in the Army I joined the Conservative Party in 1986 and was delighted to be elected Chairman of the Ashfield Association.
“However the Tories in recent years don’t have the courage of their natural convictions.
“Especially under Cameron, they tout new policies around like confetti, dumping traditional Tory values in their efforts to be like NuLabour.”

It never ceases to amaze me how the non-Conservative Party and New Labour retain their voters. It demonstrates that much of the country is full of morons unable to comprehend what they are doing.

Excellent!
Members of the Lib-Lab-Con axis are themselves waking up to the fact that their respective parties are one and the same.
The Lib-Lab-Con axis refuse to listen to the cries for help from the British public, therefore it's left to parties like the British National Party to take action and tackle issues such as uncontrolled mass immigration, rising crime, and getting Britain out of the EU.

I used to live in Ashfield. I don't think the people of Ashfield are racist by and large but I do think that the BNP will thrive in that area.

It's not racist to oppose uncontrolled mass immigration, it's common sense.
Uncontrolled mass immigration has put immense pressure on the police, schools, NHS, housing, employment, power stations, transport networks, water boards, and other public services.
On top of this uncontrolled mass immigration has promoted the self-segration of immigrant communities. This has created severe social tensions amongst immigrant communities with conflicting cultures. just look at the Black against Asian race riots in the Lozells district of birmingham which occur on an almost weekly basis but are swept under the carpet by the mass media. Loony Labour disguises this crisis as multiculturalism as an attempt to fool the British public into believing that multiculturalism/self-segregation is a good thing!
The racists are the anti-British marxists within the Lib-Lab-Con axis who wish to destroy British identity, culture and heritage.

Never said it was. Neither do I think the people of Ashfield are racist.
Another example of voters not having a mainstream party that will represent THEM.
The Labour party have betrayed their natural vote.

Indeed, I wasn't implying that you were waving the 'race card'.
I was merely highlighting how the anti-British racists of the Lib-Lab-Con axis scream 'wacism!' everytime somebody suggests an end to uncontrolled mass immigration.
Look at what happened with Woolas.
