Well, I just wasted 5 minutes of my life reading the article you linked, and it doesn't say that the purpose of UKIP is to "split the genuine anti EU/BNP vote" at all. Farage is only quoted as saying that many BNP voters are eurosceptics who have justifiable concerns about immigration, might not actually like the violence and racism of the BNP and might therefore be persuaded to vote UKIP instead. Can I have my 5 minutes back, please? :-)

Mr.Bean was never a member of the B.U.F.
The Public Order Act outlawed the wearing of Blackshirts in 1936,when Mr.Bean was 9 and accordingly to the link you provided he was "largely apolitical".
