In the case of “White” being capitalised it is to indicate that the word has a specific meaning beyond it’s normal use, that is to describe a colour.

Since none of us are actually white in the true sense of the word it is correct to write White.

As to why Muslim is NOT capitalised, that could be simply a “typo”, a thing that most of us are guilty of from time to time.

In the case of this complaint I must side with the originator.

The statement by DC that

is opinion, not stated as fact. This is a discussion forum and needs to have people posting their views without fear of censure providing they steer clear of racism or clear discriminatory statements.

You may view it as bigotry - fair enough, but last time I looked being a bigot isn't a crime.
