Nothing to do with it. It seems to be unique internicine warfare going on in the ed/fep camp - something similar(ish) happened back in the veritas days. Anyway, very largely the FEP forum is populated only by a few - you few need to deal with it. If you all put danny on your ignore list then it wouldn't trouble you.

Complaining is fruitless unless you are a lefty. It is considered quite all right to rip mercilessly into someone's personal existence if that person happens to belong to what you think of as "the fash." Almost like divine retribution. Save your breath. If I had complained about cassie's recent treatment of me I would by now have been admonished as a whiner and cassie would somehow have been sanctioned as within his rights to suggest I am pathologically insane, inept, incapable, stupid (and that by extension everyone from the country I'm in is stupid), "malign", negatively motivated, "tainted", etc. He is even permitted to urge me to leave the forum and so is his alter ego Danny. They have the power to lever you off the forum and they use it whenever they feel they aren't succeeding by personal abuse alone.

All you are ever likely to hear with regard to personal abuse here if you are not one of the shining beings of the circle of divine light, is the sound of silence, peppered with yet more derogatory commentary from the powers that be because you dared to complain. If you come here, you have to do so on the understanding that the forum software provider's licence agreement that the software will not be used to allow people to insult others is waived a little when it comes to you. Always remember how self righteous some people are today and how even things that are wrong can be made right if you look at them through smoke in a mirror.

We can always leave, or "shut up" whining. That is all you can expect and all you are ever going to get.

Bit like the British government's attitude to those who want an English Parliament - 'put up or shut up!'

That was a joke , by the way... :-)

Wow! I wonder what would happen if some of these folk got seriously involved in Politics? It's not known as the 'dirtiest game' because of the mud slinging. :-)

But Hunter, that's so uncivilized. Why can't politics again become a gentleman's pursuit? With some gentlewomen sprinkled about making tea. :-)

Sorry, couldn't resist. But it would be nice if traditional good manners could make the teeniest of comebacks. It would serve two purposes. The scum would be stopped at the door and the good stuff could put their talents to work instead of having to beg from the tables of the most uncouth generation ever to have had the misfortune to have taken over the reigns. You just can't call this thing we live in a "civilization" any more. At the moment it's just a very large manifestation of "da hood."

Where there's money you'll find thieves, scammers, beggars and vultures. With the pickings our lot in Westminster have organised, is it any wonder they'll tear each other to pieces to stay at the trough.

Yes SF, it would be a good thing if we could return to a process where our MP's are trusted and honourable people, but I can't see that happen for some time yet, especially with the EUSSR breathing down our necks.

Look Danny Boy, it's got past politics, it's become personal.

So when I insult you, as you put it, I'm not representing a political party, I'm representing myself. So on a personal note, I don't like you.

Do we understand each other?
