It tells you that the 'Tories' are no longer Tories.

Boris Johnson is just your typical out-of-touch liberal-left PC upper-crust Tory in the same way as the Boy Dave is. How he managed to get elected I don't know. It's a real shame that what was once the finest capital city on the planet had an effective 'choice' between a liberal-left Worzel Gummidge and an out and out Marixist crank. London's ever-worsening crime problem will not be solved by a person more at home on 'Have I Got News For You'.

PC? He was in trouble for violating PC while editing The Spectator.

Liberal-left? Please explain and expand, giving evidence.

He got elected either because people believed in the Conservatives' approach to London or because people hate Brown's Labour Party at the moment.

Who says he is "at home" on Have I Got News For You? Just because he has appeared on a comedy show doesn't make him autmatically bad. Would you like it if someone went up to you and said "OK you can't have a job any more because you support the BNP"? I should imagine not.

London had a choice of around 10 candidates. You know this fully.

Exactly !

We all remember the totaly biased media coverage when Ken was ousted, and it looks like the media are scrambling furiously to try to discredit Boris.

If it was the other way around, and the Boris camp asked the Ken camp, Boris would be the one being accused of politically incorrect "racism", since it is a loaded question with a "no win" answer.

He's a scurf-ridden creep and if you are talking about the article on Scum City (Liverpool) he didn't write it.

The great Simon Heffer was the author of that. Johnson was probably sleeping off the effects of a boozy lunch hour when it was approved for publication.

The only interesting or enviable thing he did was to shag that Wyatt tart on the staff. Since then she has disappeared.

His wife is an ugly witch.

If you are an MP or somebody supposedly important you can have two heads and you will still get all the pretty women or pretty boys you want.

They are attracted to the 'power'

He is liberal-left or at least he says liberal-left things in order to get the vote which because of how 'diverse' Londonistan is nowdays any candidate who seriously wants to get elected has to.

I'm not suggesting that just because he has appeared on 'Have I Got News For You' that he is a bad person. He comes across as a fairly jovial chap and is presumably quite a pleasant person. I just think that he isn't a 'serious' politican and that comedy shows are more his level.

I know London had the choice of ten candidates to choose from but with people's habit of voting for the major parties time and time again there were only two (Ken and Boris) candidates who had a serious chance of winning. Also, the media made it out to be a two-horse race and unfortunately many voters just go with the flow of the media and don't exercise an independent judgement and vote for one of the 'minor party' candidates.
