Conservative Party General Issues>Time for David Cameron to deal with Tory 'Lunatic Fringe'
Mikeuk 10:08 AM 25-07-2008
This disturbing report has recently been posted on the web...

As members entered the room Swinton Chair Mr Alan Harvey made a terrible scene yelling and postulating that "I will not have these people here. I demand they leave immediately. He kept repeating these two sentences like a lunatic, approaching some members in a threatening manner but not too close.

Respected ex-Chair Mr Alan Robertson then intervened and told Mr Harvey to stop his behaviour and led him up to the top table. God knows what the speaker thought of this moronic toad's performance.

One of the members verbally assaulted by Mr Harvey was in a smart pin-stiped suit etc., and was cordially greeted by several of those present (ex National Front Chair Ian Anderson et al), The second member was in neat jacket and tie, so they both looked completely respectable whereas the Chair had no tie, looked like an alcoholic who need a good bath and his clothes washing.

This shocking matter must be addressed without delay if the LSC is to remain approved by David Cameron's thrusting and reborn Conservative Party. Sadly it is rumoured that a report of this untoward incident has already been sent to CCHQ

Does anybody in the Conservative Party take a blind bit of notice about the Swinton Circle?

It has no influence and no power and appears to be nothing more than a talking shop and social club.

How many members does it have 10? 20?

It is not part of the Conservative Party and the actions or ramblings of certain people within the Swinton Circle are completely ignored by everyone.

Unfortunately the unpleasant activities of far-right organisations like the Swinton Circle and the Monday Club (of which I am ashamed to say I was once a member) can taint David Cameron's Conservative Party by association.

As Brown flounders, all Labour-supporting sections of the media are under instructions to use any dirty trick to discredit Cameron's resurgent Tories

Brown can't win, but this kind of incident has the potential to help deny David the decisive victory he - and Britain - needs at the next General Election. Aren't you aware that the Monday Club has already been neutralised by the Party for this very reason?

It's essential that the Party take decisive preventive action. We can't take risks with the future of our nation!

It's slipshod American English for 'face reality'. Has that helped?

Sort of :-)

But what is the 'reality' that Mikeuk faces?
Is it the same as mine or yours?
:-)
