Still another good result and beats both the NF (potentially a 11.5% result for the BNP had the NF not stood) and the Green Party. It always warms my heart to see anyone beating the Greens as they really are an odious bunch of anti-European sycophants.

Also, ANOTHER result without the presence of a UKIP candidate. Don't they have ANY active local units?

Hmm... the BNP and the fascist NF share voters. What surprises me about that?

Don't talk silly, they sometimes share them with UKIP as well! It is obvious to me that had the NF not stood, then its share of the vote would almost probably have gone to that of the BNP. Had UKIP bothered to field a candidate, we could have talked about another comparison there, but they didn't.

What about the old Referendum Party and the BNP sharing voters? I voted Referendum Party in the 1997 general election and BNP two years later in the Euro Elections of 1999.
