I only posted the result as I was up late after getting back from the most Successful Liverpool meeting which had a couple of forum members attend xD.

Good result for the BNP, terrible for UKIP.

This was once positive territory for UKIP who polled 11.9% in 2005. Their share has crashed to 3%, continuing the steep decline exhibited elsewhere in the country. The BNP's share of 10.8% is again very encouraging for the party.

I'm intrigued that Searchlight types have been putting it about that Robert West is no longer in the BNP.
Going bonkers under the strain, are they?

Well done BNP a good result. Pity Ukip & BNP don't combine and unify the same voters, as they would nearly have got third place. I am sure Harltepool & i must now agree this is the way forward ! or do Ukip wish to die out ?

I believe its a reference to the membership numbers of the Liberal Party.:-)
