EDP site failled to comment on the result yet.

Just checked the ED's website and still no report on the Henley by-election, odd that as they did better than they usually do - they almost beat the Monster Raving Loony Party - and almost polled 0.5% :-)

I think that Tilbrook/Constable will be on their way out soon as they have completely failed.

PS, Very bad result for UKIP too. If they a) can't save their deposit and b) can't beat the BNP in a seat like Henely, well are they going to do well :-)

Which is why I said he used to use the cry, Never, never, never.

I have adopted the mantra in the fight for England, the difference being, I can't be bought.

No, quite right! We don't have a denomination of sterling that small! The farthing went out of use decades ago. :-)

It would appear that rather than report on Henley, they see it as more appropriate to run with a story about the leaders of South Africa and Zimbabwe. :-) The pro-EDP forum, the Cross of St George is also silent on the subject too.

Fair enough, still dont think its a happy precedent for you to use, but more importantly, the support for the policys you advocate has to shown through the ballet box for you to get anywhere, personally I think it is a shame anyone would pick the loony party over the ED party I think that shows poor judgement. However the ED have the same problem as UKIP, the central issue they fight on is not a prominant one at General Elections or indeed by-elections, I look forward to hearing from both partys more on education, transport, health, defence, crime etc. I know where they stand on Euope and an English Parliament, they now have to show they are serious partys with full agendas for government.

What does it say precisely, and which party do you support - the OMRLP?

It says the public favour the English Democrat cause less than they favour a bunch of people dressed in big hats who pretend to be mentally unstable. That is to say not very much.
