Doesn't anyone think that the EDP's should let Andrew Constantine's party take over the fight in elections? At the very least he should be given a chance.
After the London Mayoral disaster, the appalling Henley result and now they are taking part again in yet another man's publicity stunt (David Davis) they are in danger of dragging England into the grave with them.
At least take a break, re-group and come back stronger, but to keep fighting on reminds me of Monty Python and the Holy Grail and the Knight who keeps wanting to fight despite having no arms and no legs!

They're finished. Nobody supports their cr*p idea of yet more parliaments.
The Parliament in Westminster was ruined in 1832 but we're stuck with it. The Welsh and Scots so-called parliaments should be abolished forthwith.

Our strategy for elections would be different to the EDP approach even if we threw as much money at it as the ED's have done. I don't see the point of standing as a minor party in an area where there has been zero work done. It's inviting a poor vote.
Still, it's their strategy and it's up to them how they conduct their campaigns. Personally, I agree with Mike UK, I can't see the public supporting the creation of yet another layer of government. People have had enough of politicians without getting hundreds more in, not to mention the additional cost of the whole operation. new buildings, extra staff, hundreds more pensions liabilities, Free England believe in independence for England, and the creation of a Council of the Isles, not more parliaments/assemblies. We need less government not more.

Funnily enough that's why we are, each of us, supporters/members of different political parties, I am wise enough to be able to pick the party that represents my aspirations and the rest can go fcuk themselves. Please don't presume to tell me how to think, nor vote.

I don't know you aimed your remark at, but no one involved in this thread mentioned your name at all. No has told YOU (Little Englander sour) how to think and vote.
If you are indeed an EDP member, are your aspirations to beat the Loony party every now and then. Some aspirations!

Can't turn back the clock. The better solution must be to give their parliaments full powers, and abolish the British one.

Having another pop at the EDP are we? The EDP must figure very large in your thoughts!
Perhaps you'd kindly explain what is actually stopping the FEP from taking over the fight [whatever that bit of confused thinking is supposed to mean]? The answer is NOTHING!
This is just another pretext to post, negative, destructive comments about an English nationalist party in order to foment unnecessary division. Next you'll be having us believe that YOU are an English nationalist!
Clearly, Care in the Community isn't working as it should.

Ah! What would a thread be without your cynical comments so crudely expressed?

Unfortunately for England, an increasing number of its residents are not English in any excepted sense of that word, so why would - or should - they bother with anything remotely considered necessary for an England that means nothing to them?
The English are becoming a minority in their own land and that is at large a result of the English being a successful extra-territorial colonising people.
If you have such little regard for other's freedom and self-determination, why should you be bothered about your own?
I wish it were otherwise, but England seems to be a primary consideration only when it is either convenient or suitable for the occasion, it means little otherwise to most.
Part of that is also because, unlike other "communities", the English don't have a distinct and personalised language or culture with which to call their own; English is now practically a global possession with a billion speakers of varying ability, and with it, the English are easily persuaded by their relative irrelevance as a native population to believe they actually don't exist except in tales of old. When they emigrate, the English almost vanish into a vague mix of "British" settlements that tend to be easily absorbed by the host populations, with little to set them apart culturally.
A distinct language is almost essential for many nationalist movements, and the greater success of those particular nationalist movements tend to be where their respective languages appear to be under threat of extermination by a greater ethnic overlord.

Don't worry about that. Join the EDP and pretend they are all English.
