My present view is, yes there probably is Global warming! Is it man made? I've no idea! If it is man made what can we do to reverse it? Probably nothing, even if the whole world stopped driving cars, traveling in aircraft and using fossil fuels immediately. If Global warming is just a natural cycle we can't do anything about it anyway. It would be better if governments worked out how to live with Global warming, rather than come up with 'green taxes' which only line the pockets of the Treasury. Look at it another way , we'll die if we worry , we'll die if we don't , so why worry at all!

I confess I haven't read all of all 3 links by g hall in his latest post but as I scanned my eye over the 3rd, I found this (first 2 sentences):-

Really !!!! Really !!!
:-) :-) (I've never seen this touted before).
So, not augering well for the rest, & with that sickening feeling of loads of Bull**** coming up, I skip the list of 'opinions' and then I find :-

Perhaps what they mean is this
If we keep using cars, the ice caps will melt and we'll all drown!" This is a myth"
That the statement about car use is as true as
"the Sun will die as a result of using solar power"
A reasonable argument to make I realise some people have problems understanding agruments which are not as plain as a pike staff but I am happy to help

if you look at the inter-quartile range of sea ice, is it fairly constant or not?

ignoring the 25% of largest ice covering and the 25% of least ice, are things fairly constant or not?
