Is this because they are both really EU and Governmental led anti Britain and anti England parties intent on breaking up both of them?
This is the way covert destruction of Democracy has worked in the past in the EU and in this country,is it a possibility?
Yet the BNP has opposed the EU since 1982.
UKIP a flash in the pan it seems have been elected to the EU parliament and done nothing.
Even Kilroy has asked more questions there than all UKIP MEP's combined.

I'm surprised at you Hartlepool for this post!
One has only to go back to the Football World Cup Competition before the last to see how much the UJ proliferated then. The COSG was hardly to be seen. (Indeed, even now Armed Forces being given civic welcomes in England are almost invariably greeted with many more UJs than COSGs.) Therefore, there is a logic to the BNP adopting the UJ as a symbol.
The COSG has become more prominent fairly recently. I believe that it was post 2004 that this
started to become really obvious.
Talk of 'highjacking' is rather silly when one thinks about it. Something is only truly highjacked when others generally are denied access to it or the use of it by the alleged highjackers. Can this truly be said of either the UJ or the COSG? Of course not! This is unthinking prejudice and nonsense!

The new website is almost ready and currently undergoing testing. We've got an integrated party forum on it, an intranet for our National Executive Council and membership, and I hope people like our rolling image header
:-)
The site is using Joomla! which is an incredibly good piece of software. We are able to do much more with it than our old website. Our aim is to try and make it (eventually) one of the best party political websites on the net. It is our most valuable tool for promotion and we think it needs time spent on it because of this. We are very fortunate to have an extremely talented professional web designer setting it up for us. I've asked him a million and one different questions about the site and he's always got a solution!
We've put a section on it called "Free England People", which will give you some pics and a short biography about our NEC. We think it's important for people to know who is behind Free England. There is also a section which will allow people to tell us what they think of the party and to put forward suggestions etc. We take very seriously the views of the general public and would like to put ourselves in "receive" mode.
We're aiming at a launch date of monday 16th June.
Other updates. We are in the process of appointing a regional co-ordinator for East Anglia, who will work with our senior regional co-ordinator to build up the party in that area. We are also creating our policy committee which will have its own website.
Proper organisation and structure are key elements of Free England and we are keen to make sure we get the infrastructure right. We believe we have the right team across the board, from the leadership to the IT management, and hopefully we can build from that. Some people might say we have taken a lot of time over the creation of Free England, but we want to get it right. We have been carefully planning all this for some time now and we believe that's the right way to go.
For England's sake, I hope we can be proved right

Go for it, your Highness. I have just been teaching myself Joomla so I know what you're talking about. Will be joining you soon, hopefully with friends and supporters.
Till then,
