Free England Party>New slogans registered
Richard the Lionheart 10:49 PM 10-06-2008
We've just got our new slogans registered with the Electoral Commission. They are:

Free England: England's Premier Nationalist Party

and

Free England Party: Serious about England

Some people might say what's the point, but we think they could work on leaflets and ballot papers.

They could indeed!

As a small party it is difficult to get the message out. What you say in those few words on the ballot paper might be the only thing some people know about you so it could be vital. :-)

You seem to have realised that England is a nation, and is more inclusive than using English!

England is the word our opponents wish to eradicate, and is easier to omit than English which has more meanings. Because English has a number of meanings, there is dubiety about which applies on occasion. There can be no doubt about what England means, which is why it is being deliberately and systematically avoided as much as possible . . . one only has to visit official websites to see the truth of this! CHER, the website of 'equal' opportunities - what a joke - is just one of such examples!

Now you've started, keep going! :-)

So what's the difference between the FEP and the EngDems? (Sorry if this is one of those questions your typical ignorant outsider would ask).

One campaigns for an English Parliament within the framework of the UK, the other campaigns for the separation of England from the UK.

Can you guess which is which? :-)

UkipHM

Fair question, which I reply to as follows:

The Free Englanders are good people who can be trusted. We do not hate and criticise other nations - we wish Scotland and others every sucesss. We wish to see England alone guide her own future and do not wish England to be part of a Union or an EU that stops England having her own sovereign Parliament. Nor do we wsih to see England ruling other nations.

We only started in February 2008 and believe that we are already the leading politcal party and campaigning group for English Independence. We seek to bring a message of optimism, confidence and good nature both in our work in activist politics and in our appeals to the English people.

Our strategy is to build the party from the base with a focus on local elections. So a long haul awaits us.

In a hurry, but the above should give a flavour of what we are about.

Regards, Andrew
