In response to complaints, and as a result of recent posts on a number of threads in this forum, please be aware of the following action that will be taken to try and assist this section of the democracy forum to become more constructive.

1. Any new post which does not contribute to debate (i.e consists of accusation/counter accusation) will be deleted. In extremis the whole thread will be deleted.
2. From tomorrow, any poster posting such posts will gain a sanction. these are cumulative, and will automatically generate a ban if you collect too many.
3. I will purge most recent threads also, but no sanctions will be issued.

I hope these steps will be accepted by posters on this forum as a positive step.

I think this is very positive news and hopefully will see proper debate taking placer among forum members, but I still stand by my earlier statement which was that we as a party may still refuse to debate with unspecified individuals if we choose to do so. We will simply state no comment or something similar if we are asked questions by these individuals and hope the point will not be pursued beyond that. This should stop a lot of problems immediately.

I look forward to debating with you and your colleagues however as C_steam has pointed out to you and your colleagues there is an option for you to take that is to place people(forum members who you disaprovel of on your Ignore lists please feel free to put me on your ignore lists.I doubt very much unless you take that option that things will in prove as to your FEP conducts in this section.But one can live in hope hey folks.

So pure debating then, no flexibility for some people to maybe have a little laugh and joke then?

yes, flexibility - we can tell the difference between accusation/counter accusation and 'laugh and joke'. Most of the time! :-)

Good stuff C_steam FEP really do need to lighten up a bit they are far to touchy and serious thats there biggest problem.There conduct of late has being well lets say not very good to put it midly.This is a good forum and it should be fun and it should be enjoyable thats what its all about after all. lighten up FEP
