FEP operational areas are:........ But how about Anglicising them a bit?

East Anglia = East Anglia
East Midlands = East Mercia
London = London
North East = Combined into
North West = Northumbria
South East = South East England
South West = Wessex
West Midlands = West Mercia
Yorkshire & Humber = Yorkshire

Although in my view the regions should be abolished and FEP should be organised on (historical) County level. Though I realise that in these early days finding about 40 County organisers would be difficult.

People will say this is backward looking. But we have one Hell of a history to look back on!

In relation to the thread statement for Debate.Its certainly different however its meaningless because I think people will still refer to the regions as they are currently are.

"Meaningless"? that is a very sweeping statement. I do not think it is evermeaningless to debate things.
The regional names are quite new compared to the counties. I only suggested that FEP change their regional titles until the whole system can be swept away.

In relation to the thread statement for debate and the above the fact remains that people wether you like it or not Anglo staffs will still refer to the regions and county names as they presently are and thats a fact.You can debate until the cows come home as the saying goes it wont make any difference what so ever.
