British Democracy Forum dilemma
We have a section on the British Democracy Forum for our party, but as some as you know a certain poster has done nothing but try and ridicule us, not forgetting the smear campaign he started in May. I reported him to the Mods but this had no effect.
I then started my own action, asking him to continue his campaign or be accused as a liar, but this thread was deleted, and then the Mods clamped down on everyone. I feel that this poster was planted by the forum to discredit English nationalists. After all, it is a 'British' democracy forum.
I'm not sure if I will participate much in debate there in future. It just doesn't seem worth the hassle.

Yes C-steam, many thanks. You seem to have curbed the more aggressive posters.

C_Steam I do hope you will allow for some disagreement in ROBUST exchanges and be flexible. And allow for FREE SPEECH in line with British and Democracy forum rules after all its healthy if you allow this SECTION to become a YES SIR THREE BAGS FULL SIR EVERYBODY MUST AGREE WITH FEP AND WE ALL GET ALONG ALL HOLDING HANDS TOGETHER WHAT A SAD STATE OF AFFAIRS THAT WOULD BE THEN.FREE SPEECH and DEMOCRACY would have failed because FEP will just come running to you to BAN anybody who dares to hold them to account.OR get them warned and bullied off the forum.FEP have already cluttered up the complaints section.THEY FEP might as well take over that Complaints section themselves.THEY FEP asked for this section and Tony very kindly gave them one and now they FEP seek to more or less moderate this section and thats not on. and pick and choose who posts if they dont like it they clog up the complaints section.I do hope common sense prevails. many thanks C_steam kind regards

I think you still have a misunderstanding of what 'debate' means.
'FEP will just come running to you to BAN anybody who dares to hold them to account.'
Holding someone 'to account' is not debating, is it?

Northumbrian as per usual you dont know what you are talking about no change there then hey folks.David cameron every wednesday holds the PM and the government as do MPs to account in PMs question time in debates which are debated across the dispatch box.Have you now grasped it this can be on on this very open forum with thread topics etc with BDF members posting in thread topics for debating.I do hope folks northumbrian can grasp that

And you are aware that MPs can be thrown out of the House of Commons for unacceptable behaviour?
That's the difference between Westminster and the internet. They have a code of conduct, whereas people posting on a forum think they can behave how they like.
