My apologies for missing the National Council meeting in Peterborough today.

Due to severe flooding in North Yorkshire (one side of the track was under water) I arrived at York railway station two and a quarter hours late, after setting off from Newcastle at 9 am. At that point I realised the meeting would probably have finished by the time I arrived, so I had no option but to turn back.

Hopefully I'll have better luck for the next one!

Sorry to hear about your tough travel problems today. I assume the CEP event at Berwick had the same problems.

You were missed in our meeting, and in your absence, we didn't volunteer you for too many action points...
