Rumour has it that Johnson does not want to go until the autumn, leaving the residents of Henley without an effective MP for months. This is a disgrace. We call on Johnson to do this decent thing and quit immediately. What possible reason is there for a delay?

The British National Party has already selected an excellent candidate in Tim Rate. Tim contested the neighbouring seat of Maidenhead at the last General Election. Tim and a team of senior officers from South East Region, led by Andy McBride the Regional Organiser (and Tim’s Election Agent) recently met up with National Elections Officer Eddy Butler to go through our plans for this interesting by-election. We will give whoever is chosen to succeed Johnson a run for their money. But first of all ‘Bring it on Boris!’

South East Region activist have already started their campaign. Leafleting began on 31st May with a number of villages around Sonning covered by the excellent A5 glossy full colour election warm up leaflet.. A new Henley Patriot is ready and that will also be going out shortly. It is all systems go!

Where is the logic in this? The BNP fail to stand a candidate in Crewe, where they had a chance, but then stand in Henley-Upon-Thames where they will be lucky to save the deposit?

I like to hear the explanation for this one. Which doesn't contradict every thing said about Crewe.

More evidence for my contention that the principle reason Crewe was shamefully ducked because it would have demanded Griffin's presence and allowed an opportunity for the extent of the damage to the Northern units of the BNP to become evident. Plus allowed the remnants to conspire against "der fuhrer".

QED?

Oh dont talk stupid, the reasons given for not standing in crewe were that it was too close to the may elections and that the party wouldnt of been able to put in a decent campaign. The BNP have the chance to put in a decent campaign here because it hasnt even been called yet, Nick Griffin will still go and help here as he usually goes and leafletts everywhere else. So dont know what people are trying to say by talking as if Griffin avoides going out on the streets.
Also with this election it wont have as much of a squeeze like the crewe by-election so smaller parties should do better.

Exactly, and NG will feature prominently in the campaign as you rightly surmise. To be honest I don't know this area very well, but I do know Tim Rait. He will be an excellent ambassador for the party, cultured, intelligent and well able to defuse the absurd sterotypes that the party's enemies continue to repeat. I am confident that Eddy Butler will have assessed our chances here thoroughly.

Obviously the Tories will win it, but the opportunity for the party to pick up disillisusioned voters of the old gang parties is far better than Crewe. UKIP will be confident that it can outpoll us here, but we'll have to wait and see.

I wonder if "Twizzel" will vote for us?:-)

If the BNP get more votes than UKIP in Henley, then the Logic will become self-evident.

A very BIG if, I know; but politics is always a gamble . . . And not for the faint-hearted.

Ha! BNP in Henley. I thought this must have been a joke post at first, but apparently they are going to try. Well I hope they lose all the resources they pour in, come behind the Libertarian party and have to retreat to their filthy little racist proletariat mobs to waiver some support!

I get the impression you´re not a big fan of ours! LOL

I have to agree with Wowbanger TIP, it´s an absolute disgrace that we didn´t field a candidate in Crewe! The English Democrats managed to. We´d have done very well, IMHO.

Stereotypes like "holohoax"? The BNP and Combat 18 are "on the same side"? That the BNP wants to send people of different skin colours away from their homeland of Britain? That Griffin was once connected with Neo-Nazis and terrorists? I certainly hope he features heavily in your Henley campaign because that scumbag is an electoral liability live and kicking.

Firstly the BNP knew about the imminent Crewe by election six weeks before it happened. When an MP dies we know there is going to be a by election. And as I have argued before the short timescale was of benefit to the BNP not a deterrent. It would have limited costs and restricted the use of the oppositions "Big Guns" thus leveling the playing field to as much an extent as was possible to imagine.

The proximity to May's elections is irrelevant because it would have weighed equally on all parties. Not to mention that the Northern units of the BNP, if they indeed still exist as campaign ready units, had not taken part in any significant way in the GLA election.

I have never heard of or seen a credible report of Griffin campaigning yet. My guess, based on my year as an activist, is that he delivers one speech per unit per year, at an optimistic estimate that means one days "work", if you call delivering the same speech in a couple of hours and the drive there and back work, a week. Plus a 3000 word essay every few weeks. Essentially he has the same work load as a first year sociology student.

And why won't Henley be "such a squeeze"? The electors of Henley are the most Tory in the land and they certainly aren't going to miss the opportunity to laud Cameroon with a triumph given the opportunity. Unlike the Crewe electorate who were desperately searching for an alternative to a Tory protest vote. The Tories won the election almost 2:1 hardly a close run thing.

The BNP are going to get butchered in Henley, I really have no idea why Griffin has submitted himself to this bloodbath. There is nothing to gain and he has proven his excuses for Crewe to be lies. Just another example of his incompetence and the dismal view he has of his Party's critical faculties.

By the way do you actually believe the stuff you write, or are we just supposed to?
