If UKIP do very badly in the Henley By-election on 24th June?

What do you think UKIPers will do?

For discussion purposes . . .
A percentage equal to or lower than 2.2% as achieved in Crewe and Nantwich.

Continue trying to get our message across. If you're genuinely anti EU, there is no other party!

If the Voters persist in not listening to the anti-EU message as UKIP states it:

do you give up altogether and let them stew in their own obstinacy;

continue promoting the UKIP position forever;

accept a re-think in strategy is required?

Exactly as Kernow says: We will have to be patient and work harder.

Maybe reviewing our methods of campaigning in the process. But that outcome has not arrived yet and from the UKIP Henley website and UKIPers on this forum who have been out campaigning it looks like Chris has a good chance of saving his deposit. This whole Lisbon Treaty ratification scandal couldn't really have come at a better time. (Unless, as I have mentioned before, DC and the Tories start-a-snatching).

We should continue to promote the withdrawal of Britain from the EU! There is either in or out, there is no middle ground, so there is no point in changing strategy!

If UKIP do badly maybe they should think about becoming a pressure group rather than a political party?
