Sums it up.
Gathering being held in nearby constituency as UKIP hasn't even organised an office in Henley (check spelling!!!!!!!!). For some of those of us who live in the county going to Aylesbury could add an extra 2 hours to our journey time if we were working in Henley town itself. Does nobody in UKIP understand politics and geography or are we to spend our time demonstrating to the world that we are amateurs?

No one says you have to actually have to travel to Aylesbury if that is inefficient - there are contact phone numbers. Well done to whoever provided the office space nearby - presumably to save a load of money.

Over 30 miles away from Henley, 10 miles from Thame is not convenient for constituents to drop by for a chat. Is there not one person in Henley constituency prepared to use their front room for the final gathering?

I have to say when one of my team went to help deliver leaflets twice, he did comment that not only did it take him 90 minutes to get to the club, he then had to drive another 40 minutes to his allocated houses. He is a dedicated member but that's stretching things just a bit.

When it became apparent that there was going to be a byelection, the party looked for a suitable office in the constituency. They could not find anything and given the short time available to them, they decided to use the offices above our candidate's gym. Frankly I don't think it makes much difference. If the party had found an office in say Henley it would be just as much trouble for people resident in the Northwest part of the constituency to get down to get the leaflets. Given the size of the constituency, unless you are lucky enough to find an office at the geographic centre you are bound to be a lengthy drive for someone, somewhere.
Steve Allison offered to post leaflets to me if it was too much trouble for me to come up to Aylesbury to collect them.
And to put it in perspective, its not like we are talking about lengthy distances here. If you want to see a truly large constituency, check out this map.

Thats probably a six hour drive at least from top to bottom. And it isn't even that large by Canadian standards!

And I suppose the meeting at Henley Town Hall was somehow out of the way as well?

Any pics or video footage of this UKIP activity? BNP have been able to provide lots of good information on the campaign allowing the members to see their money is being spent wisely.

I thought UKIP's members were all too old to use computers in the first place, blueblood?

But on a serious note it would be nice to see picture and video updates and more regular news stories added to the UKIP site in the future (esp. on the new version which is currently being designed).
