A good link to the BBC:
BBC NEWS | UK | Illegals firms named and shamed
There are links to lists of all those prosecuted in May for employing illegal workers. You can see which firms in your area are breaking the laws of the land and exacerbating the illegal immigration problem. You might wish to notify your local newspaper of the article if someone near you is breaking the law and they haven't covered the story.
The good news, I suppose, is that something is clearly being done, although I would contend not enough. There is a place for legal immigration, as I think we all agree. We all agree also, I think, that control should remain with our government. Illegal immigrants disadvantage both the host community and the legal immigrants who work or study amongst us, pay their taxes and contribute to our economic development. Illegal immigration is a crime and so is employing illegal immigrants.

They do say that it is only small businesses that have been targeted so far. The bigger offenders are now in the spotlight. It will be interesting to see if the trend continues with them.
