Interesting interview on Radio 4 today:

I agree with most if not all he says, and am not in the slightest bit racist for saying so. This is merely criticising a voluntary opinion, albeit an extreme ideology, and is not criticising people for their race. Typical islamic response to the mildest of criticism = we are religion of peace, if you criticise our faith we kill you. Hmm.

You think that it is "common sense" that Israel is "too soft in dealing with the Palestinians"? As Michael Buerk says, that would make you part of an "extreme" minority.

Muslims are not a race. Muslims are drawn from many different races, so I agree that criticising Islam cannot be said to be racist.

However, criticising a religion by quoting the Qur'an out of context is plain ignorant, and this is what Wilders has done.

Now. The above comment isn't racism, but it is bigotry, and apparently bigotry is fine on this forum so I won't bother reporting this post for it. I'd just like to know though, where did you get the opinion that the "typical Islamic response" is to kill you if you criticise Islam?

Here is a Muslim response to Gert Wilders. No death threats in sight, and an intellectual response.

And you believe that Islamic "culture" is "retarded" and inferior to Christian culture? And you agree that in order to preserve the Christian culture of Europe, which (rightly) you are proud of and see as your heritage and identity, Muslims should "integrate" and give up the Qur'an and give up the heritage and culture and identity that they are proud of in exactly the same way? And you don't see any hypocrisy in that at all?
