So let me get this straight. All the companies that thought Microsoft were abusing their position of power to squash their chances havd now kissed and made up with Microsoft, yet the EU is going to press ahead with an expensive court battle?

Can I smell vindictivness? Or a touch of jelousy?

Microsoft needed realing in, and the EU for once added some value with their threats, admitedly well after the States were putting them in line anyway. Continuing with it after everyone is happy is on the other hand stupid. Guess who has to pay all the costs once they loose.

Clue : It isn't Kinnock, Madelson, Corbett or Pattern!

No the EU wants blood. I really can't see how they are going to win this in the end, all the companies bar 2 have withdrawn. I find it hard to understand why Microsoft can't bundle whatever it wants with it's products. As long as other companies can make products that work on Windows, then they should make their products better if they want to take market share!
