There's nothing shocking about the link you posted.....

"Conspiracy Con 7" means "conference" not "con".

It says:
"Join 10 of the most controversial speakers in the world for yet another mind-blowing weekend of hidden knowledge and truth that will set you free!"

The term "conspiracy theorist" was a lable given to people who frightened people in the establishment, becasue they were telling the truth.

Whether they should adopt the "conspiracy theorist" label themselves, I am not convinced.

However if you consider it is a collection of individuals at any event, it is obvious they need to think of a title for the conference to promote it.

I am not sure they couldn't have chosen a better title, but can't think of another off the top of my head.

However saying that, most Americans are a lot better informed now than people in the UK are, so they don't need to worry about cynics.

Most American's can identify with what events like this are about - truth !

That's the quote Hitler used !?? :-) :-)

.....

Your last comment - well supposed I asked for that, but yes, I was probably sensationalizing a bit (not that I doubt things are messed up big time)
[Hey come on if you're looking at bad sh*t all the time, you need to joke in a while....]

........

Anyway thanks for the discussion - I must admit I kind of enjoyed it :-)(joking.... ? :-) )

Well now I've really opened myself up for some criticism ! :-)

I enjoy playing the devils advocate. I'm glad you took it how I intended it. Sorry, I just had to have a dig :-)

At least you haven't put me on your ignore list:-)

Just because I used words apparently used by hitler does not mean that those words cannot ever be used. I think it is anecdotal in reference to the current world view (Palestine, Iran, Iraq, 911, 7/7, Anti Terror laws etc.).

Until our next joust.

. "The doom of a nation can be averted only by a storm of flowing passion, but only those who are passionate themselves can arouse passion in others."

- Who said that?

Rise above it and slap 'em down. I don't necessarily agree with some of your opinions but I support your right to air them.

Shame on the moderators for being so impartial and opinionated. They'll end up just talking to themselves before too long....or are they trying to emulate nulab.....nu_ukip, silence the naysayers!!!!

It'd be a shame if you left.

Out of interest and avoiding the topic if lizards etc. what do people on here make of some of the comments by the likes of

President Woodrow Wilson:

"Some of the biggest men in the United States, in the field of commerce and manufacture, are afraid of something. They know that there is a power somewhere so organized, so subtle, so watchful, so interlocked, so complete, so pervasive, that they had better not speak above their breath when they speak in condemnation of it."

Henry Kissenger:

"Yes, there will be a New World Order, and it will force the United States to change it's perceptions."

etc etc etc.

It does make interesting reading, even if there is a lot of rubbish associated with it and talk of space lizard and what have you. I can see how all of these quotes combined and some actions by certain groups could give the impression of something going on, even if there isn't.

I thought I remember hearing something about Ed Balls being involved with that group. So I did a quick google and the Guido Fawkes blog had an article:

Guy Fawkes' blog of parliamentary plots, rumours and conspiracy: EXCLUSIVE : ED BALLS & GEORGE OSBORNE
ATTEND BILDERBERG CONFERENCE

No sign of lizards though :-)

it is a total waste of time arguing with the ignorant people who will not study the evidence.
Everything I knew, everything historical, political, I was taught at school or saw / see in the mainstream media IS A LIE.

Unless proved to be true by investigation.

HighlandFP,

You're forgetting that a lot of the people on here are probably on here to cover up the stories which they are frightened of people discovering.

But I suspect you're right - a lot of them just won't look at anything, even to disprove it to themselves.

Remember when all logical argument fails, you will get called names, that's just what happens..... But it shows they're getting worried by it too - why else would it concern them if it was a load of rubbish ?

If you get called a nutcase, you should take that as a compliment.

Keep up the good work my friend.
