I think that I could have heard the claim made that Gore might enter the contest to be this year's Democrat candidate for the USA Presidency (as a "compromise candidate" in the event that Billary Clinton and Barack Obama get exactly the same number of delegate votes at the Democrat Party National Convention - i.e. "stalemate") on George Galloway's Talksport radio 'phone-in two or three weeks ago. I believe that the comment may have been made by an American politician being interviewed by George Galloway MP over the telephone on his programme.

Sorry for the late reply - I think I've got too many other threads going !

Thnaks very much for the info.
The reason I asked was that I read an interesting article the other day.
I don't know if you are a betting man, but I noticed there has been a lot of money on Betfair for Al Gore recently(into 60-1). What made me sit up is that I had heard from another video/source I watched before this that it may happen too.
Now I don't know if you have heard of Benjamin Fulford ?
http://benjaminfulford.com/secretgoverment.html
He is supposedly a Japanese journalist who supposedly is a go between man for a secret asian society who have a large number of assasins who want Europe and the Western World to stop their global domination, or the members of the illimunati will be assasinated. His theory goes that Al Gore will form an interim govt if the illuminati do not back off.(see link)
Now this may all be a complete and utter load of rubbish ! I certainly would define it as a conspiracy theory if I had to define one, but when you consider the Japanese govt opposition have called for a 9/11 investigation and could replace the govt, it kind of backs up his claims about Asia gaining power.....
Anyway, I am not saying this is going to happen at all but suspecting someone knows something on the betting exchanges, I did a search on google for "gore president" and found these articles....
The Key Monk: Al Gore will be the next President
http://www.lmu.edu/PageFactory.aspx?PageID=42770 both of which are dated 20 feb. Now maybe this is why there has been money for him - that would explain it, but you never know there might just be something in Fulford's outrageous sounding theory - if you want to learn more about him you can visit youtube and search on his name.
Anyway forgive me if it turns out to be a load of total garbage, but thought you might be interested.....

The Raw Story | Obama a distant cousin to Cheney, Bush

Vice President Dick Cheney and aspiring Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama may not share a political philosophy, but they do share a family tree.

The vice president's wife, Lynne, said during an interview with MSNBC on Tuesday that her husband and Obama were eighth cousins, a fact she discovered while researching family ancestry for her new memoir.

“This is such an amazing American story that one ancestor ... could be responsible down the family lines for lives that have taken such different and varied paths as Dick’s and Barack Obama,” she said.

Ginny Justice, a spokeswoman for Mrs. Cheney, told MSNBC that Obama is a descendant of French Huguenot Mareen Duvall, whose son wed the granddaughter of the Englishman Richard Cheney in the 1600's.

Fox News on Wednesday also cited a report last month in the Chicago Sun-Times, which indicated Obama also had a distant genealogical connection to President Bush. The two are 11th cousins, according to the paper.

Oh sure, they are all New world order except for Ron Paul.
And frightening the links Bush's granddaddy has to the Nazi's.
Who do you think is going to win Highlander ?
Have you heard about what I'm talking about in the above reply to Britannist ?
Maybe it's total rubbish but who knows...

Why Al Gore will be the Nation’s Next President both of which are dated 20 Feb. .

Thank you for your reply YCHTT an for the link above.

I must admit, the Democrat Party contest to find their candidate for the 2008 American Presidential election is not - at this point - going quite the way Billary Clinton may have thought it would.

I think that Al Gore entering the contest to be Democrat Party candidate cannot be ruled out - but he would, of course, only do so if both Billary Clinton and Barack Obama agree to withdraw. In view of the large amount of money the campaigns for Billary Clinton and Barack Obama have spent on trying to secure the Democrat Party Presidential election candidate nomination for this year they may not wish to pull out of the contest in favour of someone (Gore) who has not spent millions this time on trying to be his party's candidate (for the Presidency).

At this point in time it looks like the Democrat Party will be divided whether Billary Clinton or Barack Obama gets that party's candidacy for the 2008 USA Presidential election.

Mr. John McCain and the Republicans look united.

You could have a good point there about the funds already spent, but I still think it's possible Gore could step in at the convention.
I'd almost risk my life that McCain will not be president however.

P.S. It does not mater one single iota who wins the presidency.
The banks win. The Illuminate win. The globalists win.

His father was the Canadian ambassador to Saudi Arabia I believe, and Benjamin Fulford worked for Forbes magazine as well as being an author, and I believe he may be standing for the Japanese liberal party in parliament (this is how I heard about him as a friend of mine is from Toronto and studying north American politics).
Whether he is a nut job or not I don't know, but I'm going to have a read of that link.

Yes, it is certainly possible. When I first heard it suggested (on George Galloway's Talksport radio programme) that Gore might be a "compromise candidate" for the Democrats (if Billary Clinton and Barack Obama reach 'stalemate' in their campaign to be their party's candidate for this year's American Presidential election) I thought it sounded like a plausible claim (i.e. that it could happen).
