If Iran gets out of its box you are all screwed. Remember they hate the West, they hate almost everyone. If they can shut the Straights you personally will be ruined within a couple of weeks at the most. They would do this for that reason alone if they could. If they have the bomb they can do that anytime they like, and we can't do anything about it. We can not let them acquire nuclear weapons at any cost.

They would not even have to use the weapon, they would become the dominant power in the Mid East instead of the Saudi/Iranian cold war we have now just by having one.

Whether this is fair, or not, is irrelevant. Fairness is all very well in Cricket, but this is the lives of our children we are talking about. Anyone who thinks that Iran should be allowed to build a bomb because Israel has one is, or should be, certifiable.

The American's may not be angels, but at least they had an interest in keeping our lives tolerable. At some point in the near future they are no longer going to be able to do so, and Alex Jones will find out exactly what a prison planet really looks like, the t***.

The rise of the Iranian militants is almost certainly the fault of the West both in terms of the West's historical handling of the palestinian issue, and the treatment of Muslims in that area. If the Iranians close the gulf, then only our short-sighted thick politicians have themselves to blame, not the Iranians.

Iran is being pushed into a corner by a pro-Israeli industrial-military powerhouse in the USA that will not tolerate ANY anti-Israeli sentiment in the Middle East.

Of course, had there been 12 million extremely rich and powerful Iranians resident in the USA, and represented in major areas of finance, law, media, politics and business, then there would not be an issue!

Iraq did not only have weapons of mass destruction but had used them, it had a least two nuclear programs, one terminated by the Israelis is 82' and one terminated at gunpoint after the first Gulf War. They can hardly complain is no-one was prepared to give them the benefit under such circumstances.

Moreover the fact that Iraq did not have weapons of mass destruction does not mean that Iran, or any other psychotic nation, is not trying to acquire them. Moreover as soon as they have a functional uranium enrichment program they can build a bomb any time they like. They already have
the delivery system.

Sorry I can't challenge your translation of the phrase "wipe Israel off the map" but it fail to see the difference between your version and the Israelis.

As for the camps built by the US government, clearly they will need to bang some people up if the economic situation continues to deteriorate, either that or let Alex Jones Taliban turn Montana into Afghanistan. It would be remiss of them not to.

If any one wants a bit of an insight into the real deal with Iran which is quite a big one yet not the one we're often sold on the TV. You'd probaly find these interviews interesting.

They are interviews with a man named Robert Baer ex CIA who was the man the film Syriana was based on. His views are open honest and well informed.

What should be remebered is Iran is the only country in the middle east that has a democratically elected government. He is not the dictator we are led to believe he is. We should also remeber before we go further that Iran has a population of 20,000 jews and although I have not the number but an exstreamly large Christian population both of who'm live there in peace with Muslims. The interviews have nothing to do with this but it should be noted.

I sure don't want to face the prospect of $400 a barrel of oil. What worries me most is not Iran getting 'the bomb' I honestly believe they have peaceful intentions and feel that with close co-operation of the russians and Iran we could guarantee their nuclear program remains strictly for domestic purposes. My big worry is McCain. His 'bomb Iran' ditty and other comments are a sure sign of his intentions

Israel is one of the only functioning democracies in The Middle East and it has been attacked on several occasions by surrounding Arab/Muslim states.

Iran is effectively a theocracy and the believers who run it believe in an apocalyptic second coming with all believers ascending to heaven and the infidels going the other way

A nuclear weapon or any other Armageddon type weapon is not the best thing that these people should have control over

The abuse of women and girls in Iran has been well documented suffice to say what sort of state hangs from the jib of a crane a girl who has been raped by a local leader and then accused of adultery
