Oh I know, I wasn't trying to bring you in. It was just Jeff was trying to somehow suggest that what the unsupported info from the link says could not be beaten, even it seems by primary sources like the Royal charters.

Nationalism all round a devolved Britain with each nation chipping in a certain % of it's GDP for Defence and Foreign Affairs costs.
This idea was suggested over 100 years ago as an answer to the then Irish problem.
