Hi
I am a final year political science student at the University of Manchester, and I am writing a dissertation on UKIP.
The main thrust of this dissertation will be examining the generally held belief that UKIP has 'peaked' and the party can only go down from here, whilst also putting forward my own view that UKIP has in fact the potential to go further & the tactics it will need to achieve this.
I am struggling for material, however, as UKIP has only shot INTO phpbb_the spotlight recently, and the academic press tends to be 6-12 months behind the times.
So, can anyone out there recommend any academic articles, books, websites or anything really on UKIP's history, policies, role in the party-system etc.
Any help at all would be very much appreciated, or if anyone wants to just discuss UKIP from a poltical science perspective please get in touch
Many Thanks,
Geraint
