I say general because I wouldn't consider myself a "politico" really. I've become very skecpital towards the EU after living for sometime in Europe. I'd be of the opinion that I'd like to see Britain and Ireland develope the idea of the British Irish Council or Council of the Isles as a federation, and move further and further away from Europe who I see as having zero in common with the peoples of these islands, culturally or any other way. I wouldn't like to see the British way of life getting dilouted into some kind of pan Europeanism. I'd also like to think that this development f the Council of the Isles would prevent any further disolution of the United Kingdom and inturn strenghten the already existing United Kingdom and it's links with the RoI.
