Welcome to the forum.
It is a long while since I was in Inverness. My recollection is of a pretty place. I stayed at my uncle's hotel which was just across the water from Inverness Castle.

I hear people refer to England and the English on this the 'British' Democracy Forum. I am English. Living in Scotland I am constantly reminded of this. I was born in the county of Durham to English parents. However, in case it escaped your notice, England and Scotland, under the Acts of Union, 1706 and 1707, united into one nation - the United Kingdom. Those dual acts havent, as far as I know, yet been repealed; although Scotland has virtually declared itself unilaterally independant.

.......

Up here in Scotland the people laugh and mock at the pathetic English. They delight that you are so stupid that you allow yourself to be governed by a 'foreign' nation while they govern themselves. England has already been abolished and yet you pretend to be concerned about your absorbtion into the European Empire.

Luke M8, I live near Inverness. I am Scottish.
You are not Scottish and you are not Polish.
Scotland and Poland are not England.
You moved to Scotland. Your move.
