I have joined a few political forums recently and have been reading this one also and thought I would join.

Can newbies not post links? I just tried to post a link on a thread about the UFO sightings, and it wouldn't let me.

Welcome to the forum. :-)
Thanks

Someone on another thread has asked me to talk about some of my views, so here goes, I would call myself a libertarian of sorts, and a eurosceptic. I dislike the BNP and New Labour, and socialists in general. I don't really hold any views about the Conservative or Liberal parties. I thought this was a general political forum but found looking through threads it is more of a UKIP forum. Don't know much about UKIP but hope to find out more.

Welcome from me as well. Nice to see a new member who isn't a raving BNP yes-man!

Hello properly mate. You are eurosceptic it seems and anti-BNP which is good.
Me personally I'm a radical decentralist and libertarian, into both political and economic libertarianism and decentralism.

Hi BonnieDundee. Nice to meet you properly too. Not really sure what decentralist is, is it taking away Government interference from local authorities?
I would say I am both an economic and social libertarian. In my younger days I may have swung toward anarchism, but only in my head lol.
I really dislike government interference, hence my dislike of the EU and I think the nanny state we have at present is damaging the UK.

I was an anarchist earlier but pragmatically, if not ideally, I no longer am. Economic decentralism means I want to see property dispersed and most people or families owning productive property, like the distributists or Mutualits or many others, or joining a co-op and political libertarianism and decentralism means I want gov't to be as local as possible and as free as possible.
