Hi, I came across this forum recently and took the decision to join. I thought perhaps it would be polite to introduce myself before I started sharing my opinions with you all
:-)
I'm a student (reading History) and a member of the Conservative Party (this place seems a little dominated by UKIP members, but that's cool - will make for some good debate)! I consider myself to be fairly liberal, perhaps even libertarian, and whilst I do have strong views I'm willing to listen to argument and adopt my standpoint if I am persuaded (it happens occassionally).
Feel free to ask any questions of me, and I look forward to chatting with you all!

Welcome.
:-)
There are a far few libertarians here. I count myself as one.

Yuk, just noticed the typo in my earlier post. Damn it!
The word "far" should, of course, read "fair".

Alex, You're a mod, you can edit anything. Cheat. I do it if I have to.
Hello.

Welcome, j622! What are your views on the EU? Are you a good Tory or a bad Tory? I'm sure some members of this forum would say the only good Tory is a dead one. But I digress.

Truth be told, I usually do. However I usually catch mistakes I make quite quickly and correct them before the normal editing period ends, so there's no "Edited by" message at the bottom of the message.
