Tonight Lord Falcolner was arguing that it was right for the Home Secretary to say go easy on criminals. Some weeks ago he was arguing that it was right for the Home Secretary to say get tough with criminals.
Am I right to feel uneasy? Is Lord Falconer for real?

Falconer (a Scottish lawyer) is one of the strongest supporters of the devolved Scottish Parliament and one of the strongest opponents  of a Parliament for England. Apart from being a europhile he is a hypocrite. It is appalling that he is getting away with discrimination against the English people  .
