Liberal ‘Democrat’ crime softies pledged to undo anti-terrorist measures, including control orders and they vowed to keep the hated Human Rights act exploited by terrorists, criminals and Muslims fanatics.

Home Affairs spokesman, Nick Clegg, outlined plans for a ‘Great Repeal Act’ to “roll back a generation of illiberal legislation”. Clegg stated at the Liberal ‘Democrat’ conference that it was right (of his party) to oppose getting rid of the Human Rights Act. He said his party would continue to be against detention without trial.

Two senior Liberal ‘Democrats’ called for the decriminalisation of all illegal drugs :x :-) :-) :evil: . ‘Chris’ Davies MEP told a (Liberal ‘Democrat’ party conference) fringe meeting in Brighton that it (legalising all illegal drugs) would undermine criminals. Baroness Walmsley said that legalising all illegal drugs would cut crime and theft. “It’s a no-brainer” she claimed.”

Ming (Sir Menzies) also said that he was a ‘Coronation Street’ fan – but he could only name one character – Bet Lynch, who left years ago.

Julie Goodyear, the actress who played Bet Lynch (on Coronation Street), yesterday dismissed the Liberal ‘Democrats’. When asked who their leader was, she said that she did not know :twisted: . “Are they still going?” she queried :twisted: ."

As an perfectly legitimate, large, but in no way sinister businessman with no connections at all to Columbia, Italy, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan or just about anywhere really, I utterly oppose the legalisation of drugs.

I mean, how's a guy to maintain a collection of vintage Maseratis, several villas and a few 60 Meter motor yachts in the Med. C'mon guys, have a heart, think of poor Luigi and his kids. Business hasn't been going too well lately they're are down to their last two hundred and fifty million Dollars !

No, any discussion of legalising drugs is wrong. It could encourage crime. :shock:

Does she mean that all illegal drugs will also be free of charge? Because I'm pretty sure heroin will be just as addictive when you buy it from Tesco as it is when you buy it from Big Vern down the road. And you'll still need to find the money to fund that addiction. So you'll still need to attempt to break into my house.

And this is why the Lib Dems will get into power at exactly the same time that the denizens of Hell start worrying about their petunias getting hit by a frost.

As long as drugs remain illegal criminality will survive and prosper and society will get absolutely no benefits whilst the criminals will enjoy themselves.
Far better for the state to legalise the import and sale of drugs it can then be taxed , the problem will be understood, users can be helped and a hell of a lot of police and lawyers time could be spent on real criminal matters.

If drugs became legal, do you think all the organised crime would suddenly disapear? Will all the people who were willing to ignore the law, just suddenly think stuff it, I'll go and work at McDonalds?


I don't think so. They will just shift their activities into another arena. So I don't think you can say it will cut drime, just shift it.

I am convinced of the crime arguments.

Yeah sure, everyone shouldn't smoke, drink moderately, eat five portions of fruit and veg each day, do regular exercise and say their prayers before bed. But in the real world it doesn't work like that.

When I go down to my car in the morning and find the window put through I am always left contemplating......'was that a junkie looking for their next fix, or a tooth fairy gone bad ?'

The whole problem with our current drug laws is that they are not working. Or rather that they are working far too well, for the criminals. We had about 2000 registered drug addicts when the 1972 (?) Misuse of Drugs Act was introduced. Today, from the Home Office Website

OK, they won't all be addicts, and they won't all steal to finance their crime. But a lot of 'em will.

The upshot of all this is that we have criminal gangs, frequently armed, making BILLIONS from all of this. We also have a culture of criminality fueled by the economic power of the drug trade ready and willing to embrace any academically failing youngster.

I say enough ! UKIP should have the balls to tackle this issue head on. Politico scum have lied to the public about drugs and the drugs trade and got us all into a hell of a mess because of it. I also firmly believe the public now see through all the lies on this issue and are ready for some serious leadership on the issue.
