Seems the Liberal Democrats are only using the Liberal part of their official name more and more these days, wonder why they dropped the word Democrat?
Maybe taking a lead from UKIP who now refer to their party more and more as the Independence party.

Do you think when I end up in prison for not having an ID card they'll let me take my own PlayStation?
:-)

Probably.
I'll be happy with the gym, internet, free meals, free bed and no work or worries anymore.

I was just thinking,if Broon bottles out and resigns thus being replaced by the Godless Milly-band we would have two Godless leaders in control of two of the three main parties.Clegg and Millyband.
The Labour party dont do God at all according to the former Real Leader Alistair Campbell anyway, regardless of who is in charge of the party.
So,I wonder if the Conservatives do Godless?
If they do we could end up with a Tripartite Godless pro-EU puppet Government couldn't we?

Doesn't Nick Clegg realise that he won't be taken to court, he will be issued with a fixed penalty (with bailiffs empowered to raid his home) and will lose the ability to travel abroad, use the health service, hire a car, withdraw cash from his bank account - in effect become a non person? This is not 1950 and Dixon of Dock Green and cricket and British fair play but the will of the Marxist European Super State. Yet he and his party support the continuing surrender of British sovereignty to this German inspired dictatorship - the war against which was the reason for introducing ID cards in 1940 in the first place. I can only think that one of us is being extremely naive.

But there is a chance that in his campaign to say no and to undermining the bringing in of ID cards he may get out of his little political class world and may realize what the EU is actually about.
Theres one thing i've noticed about the political class or rather the bulk of modern MP's they don't dislike the EU as so far they all pretty much agree with it's views. They just don't seem to be able to grasp the fact that what sounds righteous and good can quite well be completely destructive. It's when they disagree or start to try and influence it thats when they might see it for what it really is.
OK it's not every thing but at least the ideas there in principle. My fear was with them seeming to toe the party line on all socialist principles that they we're going to go along with the whole ID card thing. In the short term i see ID cards as a major threat to living in a free society this go's beyond just bullsing things up this is an attack and a major attack on the public this is when you cease to be an individual and enter into a control grid.

I agree with Roland. Fair play to Clegg. I'd far rather have a politician that stands up for something or someone, than a politician that is a toady of the first order.
Popeye!! Do you think that, with bailiffs on his door step, the Government would be less concerned than if he went to prison? Whatever they attempted to do would generate a fuss - BIG TIME!!!
