Dear Lib Dem voter,
We agree on most things
I have had discussions with lots of Lib Dems. We agree on many things, such as the preservation of our ancient freedoms, and the Iraq war being illegal.
But on two fundamental points UKIP now represents liberalism, democracy and common sense ---- while the LibDem top brass adopt a strange and illogical position. The 2 points are EU and TAX.
EU
The Lib Dem top brass want to bring government closer to the people. But also want to move all Westminster's powers to Brussels.
The LibDem top brass agree that Brussels is undemocratic, and that it resembles the old Soviet politburo, but with less power.
The LibDem top brass know that the EU's accounts are the biggest fraud the world has ever known.
The LibDem top brass know that the EU has wrecked the North Sea fishing.
The LibDem top brass know that the EU is now inflicting damage on agriculture and fisheries in Africa.
Yet they want us to stay in this evil, incompetent, fraudulent, undemocratic club.
I cannot respect that position. I think the LibDem top brass are unwilling to face the fact that they have been wrong about the EU for years. They are too proud to listen. They are too arrogant to change. They have a high opinion of themselves whereas in fact they are irrational and obstinate.
Tax
The Lib Dem top brass think that raising tax rates makes the rich pay more tax.
This has been proved wrong by economists.
The Lib Dem top brass need to grasp that "THE RICH DECIDE WHETHER TO PAY TAX".
People who fancy themselves as intellectuals should be able to grasp that idea and stop wittering on about raising tax rates.
In summary
If you are one of those many Lib Dems who believe that we should leave the EU and lower tax rates, then I invite you to vote UKIP.

I'm sure most LD voters don't really know what the Limp Dims are all about, and wouldn't vote for 'em if they did.
you want to get yourself down to your next lim dem local meeting.

The problem for me with UKIP is it seems so much like the Tories simply with no support for the EU.
Also pretty much the whole anti-EU front is not accessible for anyone who isn't into the right. I don't personally mind the right, don't mind the left either, but it is something I've noticed.
