Mathematically anyone on the list in the North East is facing the hardest fight to get elected, how does that make them a doffer? A Don Quixote maybe?

Obviously you are very politically naive, who said they have to doff their cap to Nigel they could be just seeking power or dare i say it looking for an easy lucrative career.

sounds to me like your another cap doffer.

You say Gill has a good track record is it any better than the likes of John West who cant get on the list.

Isn't it strange that regional committees were restructured before these selections were made?.

Yes i might make comments on this forum maybe because this is the only way we as ordinary members, (you know the ones, the ones that deliver the leaflets stand in elections and raise funds) have a chance to hear other members voices something the leadership have ignored and will continue to ignore until the party has gone into the abyss.

If you think my comments are wrong fair enough but it is my opinion, it maybe wrong but it is still my opinion and an opinion that has manifested due to observations of what is happening in the party.

Serious complaints were sent to Mr Gill. These complaints concerned the selection process. He DID NOT acknowledge these complaints in writing or by email. He passed on confidential complaints to at least one of those complained about. Why? He accused me of "fanning the flames of discontent in the East" because I had dared to question the selection process. I sent my complaints to Dr Whittaker after I was told Mr Gill had gone away. He also failed to acknowledge my complaints.

I'm sorry but you and your sock puppets have been engaged in a scurrilous camapaign of innuendo against Stuart Gulleford for the past three or four months, no doubt for the purpose of blackening his name prior to the MEP selection contest. In my books and the books of many others, that disqualifies you as a candidate and the selection committee was right to reject you.

Why don't you publish the correspondence you allegedly sent to Christopher Gill so that the other users of this forum can see for themselves what you were complaining of and form their own views as to whether there was any substance to those complaints?

mrabody: Mr Gill disappears on holiday during a selection process. He knew the dates of the selection process, and the date when he intended to go on holiday. Are NEC members, who are annoyed at their correspondence not being answered, also just being malevolent towards Gill?

There will be no NEC meeting in August, and the AGM will have been staged before the September NEC meeting. All quite in order is it mrabody? What will be your election motto? VOTE FOR ME TO ENSURE NOTHING CHANGES. Do you want to be remembered as the Party's mortician?

Mr Gill is taking a holiday which isnt unusual. The selection process takes place over several weeks, presumably he will arrive back before the end. Why Geoffrey, even I have been known to take holidays on occasion, despite having files that remain open and ongoing. Why, sometimes my clients even phone or write to me whilst I am taking holidays. Like the various short tempered, impatient NEC members you mention their enquiries go unanswered until my return.

Speaking of malevolance, isn't it you that attributes such intentions to a gentleman who has the temerity to take a holiday at a time not of your choosing.

I neither desire or seek the roll of mortician as it appears to be in your capable hands and I am loathe to render your existence meaningless.

I still look forward to your publication of your correspondence to Mr. Gill. Perhaps by posting it on the forum you will publicly shame him into replying.
