You will also find, I hope, that the British still loath an individual who seeks to raise his profile by the exploitation of the weak seeking to raise themselves upon the shoulders of those who have been brought low.

Perhaps sir since you seek the support of others and giving the benefit of the doubt that there are a majority of decent people of integrity from the days of UKIP still with a vote one hopes it is a lesson you learn as with your standards of morality, as you have clearly shown them, and your willingness to exploit a man knocked down and your willingness to seek a position as an insider that you bullied may be a hard lesson you learn.

A man of integrity who had so clearly breeched the ethics one would wish to see in public office would be forced to consider their position. Based upon your posturing on The Forum you would seem to bring to our Country & politics no value we would want, though I accept you may well have got a bit carried away and made something of a pratt of yourself. May I suggest you withdraw from the Forum as clearly you present yourself badly there.

As I have said, I accept I am in a fortunate position as I do not seek the approval of others, I merely seek probity, decency, honesty & morality in UKIP and the foolish posturings and name calling of the corrupt and those who support the corrupt I consider beneath contempt.

Rather than leap to foolish judgement may I suggest that you avoid the guidance of idiots and those seeking to raise themselves up – if in doubt of the veracity of their criticism or merely to make your own judgement by all means feel free to phone me and talk the matter through and THEN draw your conclusion based on rather better information.

For the record it may interest you to know that there are several people on The Forum who have known me for many years, with whom I have spent time – they may not agree with my MO at all times but not ONE of them has seen fit to try to denigrate me. There are those who I have flushed out such as Denny, as liars & cheats and they become obsessive that I have exposed their lies and duplicity. Consider the source and wonder why the worst fact they can lay at my door is that I have a pony tail and due to cancer no stomach muscles and the results thereof. Never have they found an instance where I have been dishonest, corrupt or have lied – NOT ONCE.

The depth of the hole in which the sordid little Denny stands, who I presume you are unaware was suspended from office by EUkip for corruption and dishonesty during the Leadership election, he is obsessed with my name which is Greg Lance-Watkins on my passport, the hyphen was added when I was about 11 as an affectation legally held – unlike David Bannerman whose is not in any way legitimate as it was deliberately used to mislead fraudulently and has been variably present for gain. Frankly I don’t care what anyone calls me as my friends are those I respect. I have it on good authority that Denny has sunk so low as to be trying to claim that somehow I obtained the video of John Wise, went to Morrocco or used an agent to bring embarrassment to EUkip!

The Courts will yet again show him to be a liar, when the case proceeds, as I understand it is already in the hands of the Police & Data Protection Authorities, it being a criminal offence. John West would be well advised to instruct a specialist solicitors and silk for an opinion as to his course of action for damages once the Criminal Cases are concluded. I do not for a moment believe EUkip even begin to realise the depth of the hole that has been dug by his criminal action – perhaps the outcome of the Max Moseley case may well give them pause for thought!

If EUkip can not be cleaned up then there is no role for them, they bring shame on Britain.

Dear Mr. Lance-Watkins

Thank you for your kind words. I didn't doubt for a minute that you would stand by your initial assessment of me. Whilst you you claim not to seek the praise of others, I suspect that you revel in your reputation and hold a very high opinion of yourself as a speaker of truth. In the circumstances I can understand why you would not wish to admit your mistake in naming me as a dastardly villain without having first spoken to me or taken the time to perform some elementary research.

You seem to take great umbrage with my posts concerning the affair surrounding John West’s video interview. Unfortunately unlike many who are happy to pretend that John West is an innocent thrown to the curb and stomped on by the evildoers in charge of UKIP, I noted that he has engaged in rather shocking behaviour on the forum and no doubt off it as well. To think that his provocation would not attract a response was ridiculous. You may not like the response, and may think it illegal. I happen to think that no law has been broken, and that Mr. West’s faux outrage is misplaced. As to the appropriateness of the method of response, I have to admit to a complete lack of feelings of outrage. Perhaps this is because in my experience politics can be a rather rough and tumble sport and not at all the pleasant little tea party that so many in UKIP yearn for. I also believe that the public enjoys politicians who entertain them, and I can’t but think that the tale of an ambitious young man who to advance his political career engages in an anonymous and infantile campaign of vilification of his competitors, and upon being soundly defeated then makes a complaint to the police, only to be publicly embarrassed by those he sought to malign makes riveting drama. It’s a morality tale of one man’s hubris and how he is brought low. Whether the forces that vanquish him are light and dark is beside the point. They are just part of the spectacle.

As to my opinion of whether the release of the video was appropriate or not, if I choose to share it I will but at a place and time of my choosing. In the colonies we have a saying:- “Opinions are like axxxxxxs, everybody has one.” And like certain parts of our anatomy, it may be inappropriate to display our opinions in public. I will but note that I have spoken about my complete lack of outrage as no doubt you will seize upon this as proof of my opinion. I am quite capable of dividing my emotions from my opinions, something I suspect you struggle with.

I admit to being a recent arrival in the United Kingdom. I am sorry that you are so small-minded as to resent uppity Colonials such as myself choosing to contribute to their adopted country. I like to think that I stand in the long line of Canadians who have contributed to the liberty and wellbeing of this country, including one Prime Minister, at least one senior cabinet minister, and over 100,000 war dead. I make no apologies for who I am or where I come from.

As for your claim that I am seeking aggrandisement and possibly enrichment, I could have had plenty of both if I had remained in Canada. Had I not chosen to move to England but instead remained in Canada I would likely be semi-retired from the practice of law, with a large property portfolio, all at the ripe old age of 34. As I have at least a passing acquaintance and in some cases friendship with several Provincial and Federal politicians there I don’t doubt that if I really wished I could find some sort of cushy political appointment to augment my income if I so chose. But as the above makes clear, money and self-aggrandizement are not the motivating factors behind my life choices.

With respect to the supposed revulsion the people of this country hold towards bullies dear sir, you are the one who delights in hurling abuse at others and mounting ad hominem attacks against those you don’t like, such as Dippy Denny or Mike Nutless - behaviour I would certainly qualify as bullying. If it is true as you say that the British have a revulsion for bullying behaviour (I would argue that the behaviour of our present government, our police forces, the DVLA, the TV Licencing people, and numerous other state agencies would suggest otherwise) then you should direct your self-loathing towards the chap you see in the mirror every morning.

You refer to “a man knocked down” by whom I presume you mean one John West. Mr. West’s troubles are largely of his own making, and they appear to have been prompted by his desire for aggrandisement and wealth.

You ask me to avoid the guidance of idiots. I accept advice from those whose judgement I trust, but in the end I take my own decisions. I seek advice and enlightenment from various people, the identities of whom might come as a surprise to you. I can assure you that I do not seek the guidance of idiots and that as a consequence your phone is likely to remain silent.

The irony of your obsession with Douglas Denny’s obsession with your pony-tail and surname is entertaining to say the least and revealing of your complete lack of self awareness. You needn’t fear though that I will bother you either about your hair style or your nomenclature, other than to say, that my mother always said that ponytails on men make them look effeminate, an opinion with which I intend to agree, and I recognize that most people are not as blessed as me in having a surname of more than two syllables in length and in my opinion the urge to rectify that deficiency is understandable and to be desired.
