dude, you have no idea how things work here. Besides they don't want my land. It's you royalty types that allow that type of behavior.

I think Pinewood Studios put out a few Britain won the War films of its own, don't you think? and the only WWII film Affleck is in, that I know of, occurs in the Pacific. Now, John Wayne? He kicked ass all over the planet!

and whom has overblown that role? And this Empire you bemoan, you see no hypocrisy to ask Indians, Burmese, et al to fight for your freedom and deny them theirs? and let's not use the two wrongs make it right argument please.

You should stay a few Americans might be interesting plus the volume of postings on the board seems to have fallen recently.

Sorry it took so long responding. I got a new computer and have been playing around with it. I'm sorry if I stepped on anyone's toes. Just as we say in the states, "stirring a little *****", well actually, we say ****.

Hey Kanadesaga, I admire you for sticking up for your country on this mainly British board, and I like what I have read of your opinions. :-)

I went on a US board briefly, but I was practically run off for suggesting that the US was not the best of all possible societies - LOL! (And I wasn't even criticising the US, just saying there was no such animal as 'the best country in the world'.) So I know what it's like to swim against the tide. :-)

I'm only new here, but I hope you keep posting. :-)

I didn't know that they actually taught "double standards" in the schools of today.

Now explain to me why it is fine and dandy for Kanadesaga to "stick up" for his country but is nasty racism when I "stick up" for my country.
