And????? Plenty of people (doctors, solicitors, barristers, judges, senior police officers, senior armed forces personnel) earn in excess of £100,000 a year.
It really is not that much anymore. Besides there is only 500 MPs so its £50 million out of a budget of hundreds of billions!

Ok 100K it is BUT NO other jobs and you're working at least 46 weeks of the year 5 days a week, and part of the pay is performance related voted for by your constituents and you can only be an MP after having a real job in the real world and can only be in for 10 years max
